A national healthcare service in Scotland seeks Healthcare Support Workers to perform various duties within the Eye Centre. Ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in Ophthalmology and be working towards an SVQ 3. Responsibilities include supporting registered nurses in clinical and non-clinical tasks. Training is offered, and a commitment to inclusivity is emphasized.
The Eye Centre is a bespoke, purpose‑built centre, integrating Ophthalmology Out Patient Clinics, Pre & Post Op areas and Ophthalmology Theatres. The unit aims to provide high quality elective cataract services to meet the demands of an aging population.
Training within pre‑op, post‑op areas and theatres is provided. You will be required to achieve all mandatory induction standards.
