Job description

Our new service, developed in collaboration with Royal Free Hospital, is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Healthcare Assistant in the Emergency Department. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and assisting in maintaining patients skin integrity and personal hygiene, conducting nutrition assessments, and attending to their comfort needs to promote rest and sleep.

• Assist Clinical Nurse Specialist with assessments and patient care.
• Provide discharge planning support, liaising with community teams to facilitate prompt discharge home/to preferred place of care.
• Deliver hands‑on personal care.
• Monitor and record observations.
• Provide emotional and practical support to patients and families.
