Job Vacancy: Senior Healthcare Assistant (Nights)

Location : Bromley Park Care Home, 75 Bromley Road, Beckenham BR3 5PA
Contracted hours: 44 hours (to include - every other weekend free, as applicable),

Work flexibility in accordance with your availability and the service requirements
(Hourly) rate of pay: From £13 Per Hour

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will enjoy being part of an exceptionally supportive team, welcoming you into providing outstanding physical, emotional, and social assistance to the people living at Bromley Park Care Home.

We are currently on the lookout for a positive and motivated individual to join our growing team as a Senior Health Care Assistant. We are looking for someone who is deeply passionate about caring for the elderly. You will also need to have a genuine drive to manage a care team responsible for those using our services, including our residents, their families and visitors.

You will have the opportunity to excel whilst:
The Senior Healthcare Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Providing care in accordance with current best practices, policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations, under the direction of the manager.
  • Providing leadership to the care staff within the service.
  • Undertaking simple wound dressings following completion of specialised training.
  • Undertaking the monitoring of vital signs (BP, pulse, respirations, temperature, oxygen saturations and neurological observations.
  • Reviewing care plans and risk assessments and completing documentation for new admissions. Report all concerns to management.
  • Undertaking all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.
