We are proud to help more people achieve the choice to receive end‑of‑life care in the comfort and dignity of their own homes, thanks to our partnership with NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (ICB). We are building on our successful South Oxfordshire Hospice at Home service to launch a brand‑new Hospice at Home service in Berkshire West.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant in our Hospice at Home team you will:

• Deliver hands‑on care in patients' homes across Berkshire West and South Oxfordshire.
• Work closely with community nursing teams, doctors, therapists and volunteers to provide holistic, person‑centred care.
• Support patients and families in their last months, weeks or days of life, helping them live as fully as possible – no two days are the same.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for dedicated, empathetic professionals who want to make a real difference in their community. You will bring:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) (Essential)
• UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (Essential)
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills (Essential)
• Understanding of person‑centred, inclusive care principles (Essential)
• Passion for providing high‑quality palliative and end‑of‑life care (Essential)
• Experience of community care or lone working desirable but not essential
