Care and Support - Dee View Court Care Home

Contract: Full Time Salary: £13.11 - £13.61 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 37.5

Located in the heart of Aberdeen, Dee View Court is a 43-bed specialist care home providing expert neurorehabilitation and long-term care for adults with complex needs. Our dedicated team delivers personalised care plans in a supportive, homely environment where residents are empowered to achieve their goals and live well every day.

We are now looking for a committed and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our exceptional clinical team. Your role:
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant at Dee View Court, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, holistic care to residents with complex needs. You will provide direct supervision, coaching and mentoring to junior staff, supporting them to achieve excellent care standards. Your responsibilities will include clinical tasks, care planning participation, accurate reporting, and promoting a positive team culture that values dignity, respect and safety.

What we are looking for:

  • SVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years’ relevant care experience
  • Demonstrable leadership, supervision and mentoring skills
  • Good communication and computer literacy, including use of IT systems for reporting
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team and adapt to changing needs
  • Awareness of clinical governance, quality standards and audit processes
