A healthcare organization in Connah's Quay is seeking an experienced Health Care Support Worker. You'll assist GPs and the nursing team with various duties such as phlebotomy and health checks. Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3 and experience in a healthcare setting. The position supports team collaboration and may require enhanced DBS check.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Care Support Worker to work in St Marks Dee View Surgery, Connah's Quay. This practice is currently being managed by the Local Health Board.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. Knowledge of the EMIS clinical system is desirable, however training can be given.
The role will assist the GPs and Practice Nursing Team on a daily basis and duties will include phlebotomy, dressings, ECG's, health advice and checks, treatment room duties, urinalysis and preparation of specimens for investigation by the pathology laboratory.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures.
The position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and suitable references.
