A leading health organization in Wales is seeking an experienced Health Care Support Worker for St Marks Dee View Surgery in Connah's Quay. The role involves assisting GPs, performing phlebotomy, and treatment room duties. Previous experience is advantageous, and knowledge of the EMIS system is desirable. The role will assist the GPs and Practice Nursing Team on a daily basis and duties will include phlebotomy, dressings, ECG's, health advice and checks, treatment room duties, urinalysis and preparation of specimens for investigation by the pathology laboratory.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures.
The position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and suitable references.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. Knowledge of the EMIS clinical system is desirable, however training can be given.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. Welsh and / or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
