Senior Health & Safety Manager (Rail)

London/Midlands | £70,000–£75,000

We’re representing a highly respected engineering contractor delivering complex rail infrastructure projects across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager to take the lead on all HSE activity across multiple live rail projects, shaping strategy and driving culture across a dynamic, growing business.

The Role:
  • Act as the business’s rail HSE subject matter expert and lead coordinator
  • Partner with clients across major rail infrastructure frameworks
  • Oversee audits, inspections, and safety assurance across all project phases
  • Drive compliance with all relevant rail standards and accreditation schemes
  • Champion health, wellbeing, and behavioural safety initiatives
  • Support new project mobilisation and tender activity from a HSE perspective
About You:
  • NEBOSH or NCRQ Diploma (or equivalent)
  • PTS/Sentinel and IOSH Certified (minimum)
  • 5+ years’ HSE management experience within a rail environment
  • Strong knowledge of Network Rail protocols and rail safety systems
  • Confident communicator with proven audit and investigation experience
