A government department is seeking a Health and Safety leader to oversee policy implementation for approximately 90,000 staff across England, Wales, and Scotland. This role involves leading a diverse team to ensure robust health and safety standards, providing expert advice, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in health and safety policy development and strong leadership skills.

Provide expert H&S advice to ensure DWP has robust arrangements in place, enabling staff to meet legal obligations as far as reasonably practicable.

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Health and Safety (H&S) leader within the People Health and Safety Team. This is a business-critical role where you will be leading on vital H&S policy across the department, within England, Wales and Scotland for circa 90,000 people in over 900 sites.
