Job summary

MASS in the United Kingdom is seeking an RF analogue design engineer to design and build analogue RF circuits, deploy hardware models, and verify complex RF systems within a cutting-edge synthetic range. You will work on integrating in-service and legacy payloads, ensuring automated, repeatable test solutions for high-importance trials.

The role is based at our St Neots site and requires a UK National with eligibility for UK government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of RF analogue designs and testing.
• Scaling and calibration to ensure synthetic environments are represented to real-time HIL systems.
• Experience writing test automation scripts (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW).
• Ability to solve problems in a methodical manner.
• Experience using test bench equipment (signal generators, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, network analysers, power meters).
• Generation of test harnesses for hardware model interfaces (Analogue RF, Digital IQ, TCP/IP, UDP, JTAG, UART).
• Familiarity with synchronisation and timing architectures.
• Network debugging and fault-finding (package/port level).
• Experience implementing ICDs/APIs and reviewing customer documentation for SUT.
• Experience with PCB design and manufacture.
• Safety-conscious approach when working with RF equipment.
• Knowledge of EW systems.

Working full-time at our St Neots site, you will help deliver high-importance synthetic trials to a variety of government and industry partners, each with their own requirements to be verified. Your ability to ensure automated and repeatable solutions will greatly impact the success of these trials.
