Cirrus Selection Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Algorithm Engineer based in Bristol. You will develop Guidance & Control algorithms and participate in architecture across real-time systems, RF/IR subsystems, inertial sensors and actuators.

The role involves collaboration across departments and lifecycles from concept to trials. You will apply mathematical and physics-based approaches, perform rigorous analyses, and communicate design requirements clearly to guide development teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in physics, mathematics or related field.
• Experience in aerospace guidance, control and navigation.
• Proven ability to bound engineering problems with clear design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop Guidance & Control design and high-level architecture for real-time systems.
• Design, test and verify sophisticated G&C algorithms and subsystems.
• Collaborate across programmes and departments for lifecycle stages.
• Communicate complex design challenges with clear requirements.
