Senior Group Finance Manager - Computer Gaming

Innovative and creative computer gaming company are looking for an ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified Senior Group Finance Manager to join their highly successful London based team.

This role will ensure the overall robust financial management of the Group. This includes leading the Group financial control and reporting functions, providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making, and maintaining a robust control environment across the group.

How is success defined in this role?
  • Lead a robust and timely month‑end close process every month, ensuring accurate group reporting with no disruption to business deliverables

  • Deliver annual statutory accounts that are fully audited and signed off within agreed timelines and maintain strong relationships with external auditors

  • Oversee and continuously improve acquisition accounting and integration processes, ensuring due diligence, accurate purchase accounting and smooth post‑acquisition integration.

  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems and controls to enhance efficiency, data integrity and scalability as the group grows.

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax requirements and regulatory obligations.

  • Serve as the Group's technical accounting expert, providing clear guidance on complex IFRS matters and ensuring consistent application of accounting policies across the Group.

  • Act as a trusted partner to subsidiary finance leads and management teams - supporting them with accounting guidance, reviewing submissions and supporting on local reporting challenges.

  • Hire, develop and manage a Group Accountant to support consolidation, reporting and audit deliverables

Key deliverables
  • Monthly financial results and consolidated financial and statutory accounts.

  • Provision of financial analysis to support decision‑making, including performance analysis and KPIs.

  • Leadership in the financial aspects of investment transactions, including due diligence and acquisition accounting.

  • Overseeing the production and audit of the annual report.

  • Ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS.

  • Leading the Group financial close process and controlling the financial environment.

  • Supporting in development of the finance team to achieve high performance.

  • Managing relationships with external auditors and advisors.

  • Driving transformation initiatives within the Group finance function.

What we're looking for from you
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive technical accounting experience.

  • Proven track record in managing complex financial operations, including international subsidiaries.

  • IFRS multi‑currency consolidation experience required.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Experience of working with Auditors to complete statutory audits;

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, particularly in accounting and integration.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective cross‑functional collaboration.

  • Ability to navigate and manage change within a rapidly evolving organizational environment.

  • Netsuite and Tagetik experience a bonus.
