Job summary

Edwardian Hotels London is seeking a Senior Building Services Engineer (Mechanical and Commercial Gas) to manage and maintain commercial heating, hot water, and allied plant across its luxury hotel portfolio.

The role involves servicing, installing, and repairing gas systems and associated plumbing/mechanical works, supporting projects, and ensuring safety standards across sites. A strong ACS, Gas Safe, and COMCAT qualification set is essential.

Qualifications

• Current ACS Qualifications.
• Commercial Gas Safe Registered Engineer.
• Commercial Gas Qualifications.
• Domestic Gas Qualifications.
• Industrial Gas Qualifications.
• LPG Gas Qualifications.
• COMCAT 1, 3 & 5 qualifications.
• Proven experience with Commercial Heating and Hot Water Systems.
• Plumbing and pipework experience including: Copper pipework, Steel pipework, Pipe threading, Mechanical pressing systems.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing, and installing commercial gas, oil, and solid-fuel heating systems.
• Carrying out plumbing and mechanical services works as required.
• Supporting the Group Property Manager in delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Maintaining commercial heating, hot water, and plant systems to the highest standards.
• Liaising closely with Design Teams, Project Managers, and Senior Management Teams.
• Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering standards across the group.
