Job summary

Redstart Northwest Limited is seeking an experienced Groundworks Estimator to price and submit tenders for a range of groundworks and civil engineering projects from tender stage through to handover. You will work with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and our project team to deliver competitive, accurate estimates.

The role requires a strong background in groundworks and civils, the ability to read drawings, perform take-offs, and price labour, plant and materials.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating groundworks and civils projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings accurately.
• Proficient with take-offs, BOQs and tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed groundworks/civils estimates.
• Produce take-offs and quantities.
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Price labour, plant, materials and subcontract packages.
• Identify risks, exclusions and savings opportunities.
• Prepare and submit competitive tenders.
• Liaise with clients and main contractors.
• Support commercial and operations teams from tender to handover.
