Leicester City Council is seeking a confident Gardener Supervisor to manage a dedicated team of Craft Gardeners at Knighton Park Depot. You will operate equipment, apply chemicals, and maintain green spaces to keep Leicester's parks accessible and attractive.

The role requires horticultural experience, team leadership, and a full UK driving licence. The position is full-time, permanent, with 37 hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in horticulture or groundsmanship.
• Experience in using specialist equipment.
• Experience in applying pesticides.
• Ability to lead a team and provide guidance and support.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain hand and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain Leicester’s green infrastructure and hard landscape features.
• Provide advice and support to customers using the facilities.
