Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Grid Automation to lead end-to-end delivery of complex Offshore Wind Farm projects, from handover to final acceptance, and to coach a team of Project Managers.

You will manage schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholder relationships, drive commercial performance, and report KPIs to leadership, with approximately 15–20% travel and a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering; formal qualification required.
• Extensive PM experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D).
• Background in T&D and Grid Automation, including Protection & Controls.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projects in parallel.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel ~15–20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project delivery across Grid Automation, including Offshore Wind Farm scope.
• Manage schedule, cost, risk and customer relationships from transfer to PAC/TOC.
• Own financial performance, gross margin, forecasting and cost recovery planning.
• Maintain senior-level stakeholder relationships, ensuring proactive communication.
• Drive contract and supplier management, coordinating with procurement and contracts.
• Identify, manage and mitigate risk with action plans and opportunities.
• Coach Grid Automation PMs and share lessons learned for BPM.
• Report KPIs and consolidate execution summaries for leadership.
