Job summary

Waterstons, an IT consultancy in the UK, is seeking a Senior Information Security Consultant with a strong focus on GRC. You will lead information security and data protection projects, advise clients, and grow the Cyber division without mandatory line management initially.

You should bring solid experience in data protection, DPO roles, and the ability to build trusted client relationships while mentoring junior colleagues and expanding our offerings with pragmatic technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security with a focus on GRC.
• Good understanding of data protection and experience in DPO roles.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and act as trusted advisor.
• Enjoys a varied environment and mentoring colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver information security and compliance projects, mentoring junior team members.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with clients and prospects, acting as their trusted advisor.
• Deliver projects, including information security strategy, data protection consultancy, and assessments against frameworks like ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.
• Stay updated on the latest information security and data protection best practices.
