Job description

The KILLSTAR brand-universe is an invitation for people to explore, discover, and become who they are. We help affirm this invitation by creating an inclusive, supportive environment where our team members are embraced exactly as they are.

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team — a visual storyteller who knows how to turn strategy into scroll-stopping design. You’ll take the lead on producing compelling newsletters and customer communications that drive engagement and loyalty, while also crafting beautiful, on-brand creative across all channels — from website and app assets to paid social, digital campaigns, and e-tailer content.

This is a hands‑on creative role for a designer who can balance concept and craft, bringing both big‑picture thinking and attention to detail to every brief. You’ll collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and e‑commerce teams to deliver best‑in‑class design across the full customer journey.

If this sounds like you, please read on!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Lead the design and layout of customer newsletters and CRM communications, ensuring all visuals are impactful, on‑brand, and optimised for performance.
  • Design campaign assets across website, app, paid and organic social, display, and e‑teller platforms.
  • Champion visual consistency and brand storytelling across all customer touchpoints.
  • Work closely with CRM, eCommerce, and Marketing teams to interpret briefs and deliver creative that supports business goals.
  • Create templates and toolkits to streamline BAU campaign production.
  • Stay ahead of trends in digital design, typography, and motion to keep brand communications fresh and relevant.
  • Provide art direction and guidance to junior designers and freelancers as needed.
  • Ensure all creative is delivered on time, on brand, and optimised for channel performance.
WHO YOU ARE:

Excellent eye for typography, layout, and brand detail.

Organised, self‑motivated, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

A collaborative team player who can take feedback and contribute to creative discussions.

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
  • 4–6 years of experience in digital or graphic design within ecommerce fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands (agency or in‑house).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing newsletter, CRM, and campaign design work.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma or XD experience a plus.
  • Confident understanding of email design best practices, responsive layouts, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience creating content for multi‑channel campaigns — web, app, social, and digital retail partners.
WORK HOURS & LOCATION:

This role will be based in our Brighton HQ. You will be required to work from our office for a minimum of 3‑days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on the other days. Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00, 37.5 hours per week.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

We are a proud equal opportunity employer, and we back that up with a “come as you are” culture that is welcoming, inclusive, and safe.
