A leading training provider in Cardiff is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join their Marketing & Communications team. This hybrid role involves producing creative design solutions across print and digital platforms and mentoring a junior designer. Candidates should have at least three years of experience and competency in Adobe Creative Suite. A degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required. The position offers a salary between £29,013 and £32,178 per annum with a commitment to staff engagement.
Contract term: Temporary 1 year contract (starting February 2026)

We are looking for a talented and creative Senior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team for a one-year contract starting in February 2026. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll use your strong design, typographic and visualisation skills to help deliver ACT’s marketing strategy, strengthen our brand, and produce engaging design solutions across a wide range of print and digital platforms.
You will lead on the design of materials such as brochures, flyers, signage, exhibition stands, presentations and staff/learner resources, while mentoring and supporting our Junior Graphic Designer. You will also contribute to developing and maintaining ACT’s digital presence, including our website, intranet and other online platforms.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer with at least three years’ experience and a strong portfolio to grow their skills within a friendly, professional and values-driven environment. This role is Hybrid with a 3/2 split (3 office days and 2 homeworking). ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
