A leading children's fostering group in Bolton is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead the creative direction for their visual identity. This position requires strong skills in corporate design, brand management, and a hands-on approach to project leadership. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Graphic Design and a compelling portfolio. Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

With over 20 years experience, National Fostering Group is the largest independent children's fostering group in the UK with a community of over 2,500 foster carers. As a Group, we work with Local Authorities to provide the highest quality of care for children and young people. All of our fostering agencies are officially recognised by Ofsted, Welsh and Scottish regulators as either ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ which we are extremely proud of.
We also offer a 4 day working week – this means 80% of the hours for 100% pay! This will be given following a successful 6‑month probationary period and is a performance based benefit.
As our Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll help lead the creative direction for the Group’s visual identity, ensuring a consistent, high-impact brand presence across every touchpoint. From concept to delivery, you’ll design standout assets for campaigns, digital channels and internal communications that engage and inspire. You’ll manage the creative workflow, mentor other designers and collaborate closely with stakeholders to bring ideas to life. This is a hands‑on role for a passionate designer who can balance strategic thinking with creative execution, driving innovation and elevating our brand at every opportunity.

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with a strong track record in corporate design, brand management and delivering creative across digital and print. You’ll be hands‑on, confident leading projects and campaigns, and able to represent the team with senior stakeholders.
You will be highly organised, detail‑focused and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a portfolio that showcases your breadth and quality of work are essential, along with a degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or a related field.
