Job summary

Arm's Senior Software Engineer (Instrumentation) role within the Agile driver development team offers the chance to work on Mali GPU technology. You will design, develop and maintain instrumentation framework and tools, collaborating with HW and SW teams to monitor and improve system performance on billions of devices.

You will gain insight into GPU hardware/software designs, lead design and code reviews, and contribute to high-quality, high-performance software.

Qualifications

• Experience in using or creating profiling tools.
• Extensive expertise in C/C++ programming, with a strong ability to design and optimize complex software architectures.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve highly complex software and system issues.
• Understanding and interest in computer architecture, embedded systems, and hardware-software interactions.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, maintaining and improving instrumentation framework and tools.
• Performing design and code reviews for other team members.
• Working closely with HW and SW teams for interfacing and integrating with other components.
• Understanding the requirements of other teams and inventing creative solutions to meet them.
