Job summary

The post-holder will manage a caseload and deliver a wide range of health services in a primary care setting, ensuring high standards of care for all registered and temporary patients in Yeovil. The role may include acting as named GP for a specified patient group.

Responsibilities include conducting surgery consultations, telephone and online consultations, home visits, and contributing to clinical administration, prescribing, and multi-disciplinary communication in line with Practice policies.

• Provide general medical services managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
• May be the “named GP” for a specified group of patients and undertake duty GP duties as required. This includes surgery consultations, telephone/online consultations, home visits, and clinical administration.
