Job summary

Hackajob Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Golang Engineer to lead backend and full-stack initiatives within a global engineering team. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable Golang services, collaborating with Tech Leads and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.

The role emphasizes mentorship of mid-level and junior developers, improvement of development processes, and cross-functional collaboration with frontend teams using React/TypeScript.

• Comfort with web-based tooling, integrations, and full-stack development.
• Experience translating solution documentation into actionable tasks.
• Deep understanding of Golang and frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript).
• Experience with Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable Golang applications and services.
• Own complex greenfield software projects from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads, Architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to mid-level and junior developers.
