Job summary

YLD is a remote-first consultancy delivering software engineering, product design and data solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll join a client team to build innovative products and design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures.

You’ll communicate clearly, collaborate with colleagues across teams, and contribute to high-impact initiatives. Based in London with 1–2 days on-site, this 6-month contract offers flexible, remote-first working arrangements and opportunities to extend.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience with Go as primary language.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience building APIs and SaaS backend services.
• Familiarity with modern deployment practices, including Docker, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Strong testing strategies (TDD) and performance optimization.
