Job summary

Forta Productions in London is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of live events. You will oversee projects from brief to completion, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to meet strict timelines and budgets.

The role requires proven experience in delivering large-scale live shows, strong budgeting skills and the ability to travel internationally when required. A proactive, collaborative leader will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale live shows and events.
• Experience delivering virtual events is desirable but not essential.
• Proficient in Google Drive, Microsoft 365 and HireHop or similar rental management systems.
• Capable of managing budgets of £250k+.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery from brief to completion following the critical path.
• Liaise with clients to establish briefs.
• Assess requirements and balance creative ambition with delivery and value.
• Manage day-to-day client communications and production changes.
• Justify production methodologies and cost items; collaborate with clients.
• Book freelancers and technicians and coordinate scheduling.
• Manage project delivery and client-owned/sub-contracted kit.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure alignment with specifications.
• Address H&S requirements and ensure paperwork and permits.
• Oversee financial control and budget delivery; ensure timely invoicing.
• Conduct project debriefs and share learnings.
• Be proactive to move projects forward and collaborate with other departments.
