Job summary

Ryder Reid Legal seeks a Senior Specialist - Business Development, Global Marketing to support international marketing and BD initiatives across London and Brussels.

You will work tightly with dispute resolution and environmental practice groups to drive profile-raising, client engagement, and growth in key markets, coordinating pitches, events, and content. The role requires strong writing, project management, and CRM experience, with a flexible, globally-minded approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' business development and marketing experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Experience supporting litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution, regulatory, or sector-focused practice groups is advantageous.
• Strong writing, project management, and organisational skills.
• Proven experience with pitches, proposals, events, and legal directory submissions.
• Experience using CRM systems and reporting on BD activity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pitches, proposals, credentials statements, and client presentations.
• Support and deliver events, webinars, sponsorships, and client-facing initiatives.
• Manage business development projects and marketing campaigns from conception through to execution.
• Draft and coordinate legal directory submissions, including Chambers and Legal 500.
• Maintain CRM data and track business development activity and opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify client development opportunities.
• Produce marketing content, including client alerts, articles, website updates, and thought leadership materials.
• Support partners and lawyers with business development plans, client targeting, and strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with practice groups to drive profile-raising and growth objectives.
