Job description

Senior Geotechnical Engineer | £45,000 | Leeds

A new job has opened in the Leeds area. We are a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who work on a variety of exciting projects.

We are looking for a new Senior Geotechnical Engineer to help lead and develop the ground investigation team. You will be working on a variety of projects ranging from large infrastructure to residential.

Your role as the Senior Geotechnical Engineer will mean that you will be responsible for: Providing ground investigation reports, supervising site investigations, designing and specifying slope and earthworks developments, assessing geotechnical issues, liaising with clients and mentoring junior staff.

Although you will be mentoring the junior staff, you will also receive training for your own professional skill set.

Essential requirements:

  • You must hold a Geology or Civil degree (Preferably MSC)
  • Have a relevant background
  • Have experience in mentoring
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Live within a commutable distance from the Leeds office
  • Have full working rights to work in the UK
