Qualifications

• At least 5 years relevant post-graduate experience.
• Experience in geotechnical and civil engineering site investigations.
• Membership in a professional organisation like the Geological Society or CIWEM.

Responsibilities

• Writing Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports.
• Managing site investigations and logging of soils and rocks.
• Preparing health and safety risk assessments.

Skills

Knowledge of contaminated land management

Report writing skills

Experience with borehole software

Excellent MS Word skills

Basic knowledge of CAD

Strong communication skills

Education

Relevant Masters degree in geological or environmental science
