Job summary

Levy is seeking a General Manager for a high-profile Goodwood venue in Chichester. The role leads a large hospitality team to deliver exceptional food, beverage and guest experiences, aligning operation with brand standards and client ambitions.

The General Manager will drive strategic planning, innovation and continuous improvement while maintaining excellence in service, safety, and financial performance across events and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Senior F&B management experience (min 5 years)
• Experience across multiple sites advantageous
• Venue experience in stadiums/entertainment venues preferred
• Strong financial understanding and P&L accountability
• Proven client relationship skills
• Ability to manage large teams and events

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning with client and senior ops leadership
• Drive market insights, identify innovation opportunities
• Oversee day-to-day operation and maintain high food/service standards
• Build a strong hospitality culture and respond to client/guest feedback
• Lead health and safety culture and compliance
• Recruit, lead and develop the permanent management team
• Coordinate casual staffing for large events
• Foster team development, performance management and succession
• Ensure profitability, budgets and KPI-driven improvements
• Collaborate with culinary, marketing, procurement to grow spend per transaction
