Job summary

The Avon And Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust invites applications for a consultant psychiatrist to join the Primary Care Liaison Service in Wiltshire. You will work with the CMHT, Intensive Service and GP partners, provide supervision, participate in MDT meetings, and help develop services to meet national standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-agency collaboration and service development.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership in the Primary Care Liaison Service.
• Triage referrals and assess patients; advise on management.
• Liaise with CMHTs, Intensive Service and GP partners; participate in MDTs.
• Provide supervision and management supervision for doctors in the team.
• Contribute to service development and monitoring against performance indicators.
• Respond to Advice and Guidance requests within 3–5 working days.
