Job summary

Recruit So Simple Ltd seeks a Senior Womenswear Garment Technologist in North London. You will lead fit meetings, amend patterns and manage critical path issues for a fast‑moving high street supplier.

The role offers salary to £50K DOE + benefits. You will collaborate with a 5‑person Garment Tech team and travel overseas 3‑4 times a year, ensuring deadlines and quality across product development.

Office based in North London with established client base and supportive team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of recent UK high street womenswear technologist experience.
• Able to amend patterns.
• Confident in fit meetings.
• Knowledge of critical path management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel overseas 3–4 times per year.
• Team player with strong deadline discipline.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead fit meetings and coordinate pattern amendments.
• Manage and resolve critical path issues across development.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support product development with quality checks and documentation.
• Travel overseas 3–4 times per year to oversee production.

Product Area: Womenswear High Street Clothing Manufacturing

Salary to £50K DOE + Bens

With a multitude of highs street clients this well established and growing womenswear high street supplier are adding a Senior Garment Technologist to the team due to an increased workload. A business with over 30 employees and a Garment Tech team of 5 they are looking for a well-versed Technologist happy to take fit meetings, amend patterns and deal with critical path issues along the way

MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED

• 4 years plus recent experience working as a Womenswear Garment Technologist ( at tech level ) within UK high street womenswear supplier
• Able to make pattern amendments
• Confident in fit meetings
• Knowledge of critical path management
• Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
• Be happy to travel overseas 3/4 times a year
• Team player
• Understanding of the importance of deadline in the supply world
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
