Senior Fund Controller - Build & Scale CLO Platform

Job summary

Equifind is partnering with a global private equity house to recruit a Senior Fund Controller to build and evolve a CLO platform from ramp to a mature issuance programme, with clear ownership over the finance function's shape.

You will be the financial owner of the manager entity, controlling the debt issuers, NAV and collateral reporting oversight, and developing the reporting framework as the platform scales.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with audit background.
• Minimum 6 years CLO or leveraged finance experience.
• Experience overseeing NAV production and external administrators.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and stress-test waterfalls across credit products, final point of challenge before figures are relied upon.
• Lead preparation and review of annual financial statements and issuer-level reporting packs; direct the full audit process with auditors.
• Own the management entity's books and records end-to-end; ensure capital accounting is accurate across investor classes.
• Oversee NAV, collateral valuation, and position reporting delivered by external administrators; hold them to quality and timeliness.
• Produce quarterly management accounts, cash flow schedules and internal reporting for senior leadership.
• Sign-off on periodic reports from trustee and collateral administrator ahead of distributions to investors and rating agencies.
