Job summary

ClearRoute, an engineering consultancy, is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer with deep React expertise to build, deploy, and optimize high-performance web applications. The role focuses on cloud deployment, AI integration, and scalable architecture, collaborating across backend, cloud, and AI teams.

Ideal candidates will have extensive React experience, strong UI performance skills, and a track record of delivering production-grade, data-intensive software on Azure (AWS also considered).

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior fullstack Developer or similar role.
• Expert knowledge of React, including modern patterns, hooks, state management, and performance optimisation.
• Proven experience deploying applications to cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and container-based deployment models.
• Experience working on applications that handle large datasets or high-traffic environments.
• Strong understanding of front-end performance, observability, and optimisation technique.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React with TypeScript.
• Build front-end solutions that support high data throughput and performance at scale.
• Collaborate on deployment of applications to cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS acceptable).
• Integrate front-end apps with AI-powered services and LLM-based APIs.
• Support CI/CD processes and promote reliable deployments.
• Work with containerised environments (Docker) and cloud-native pipelines.
