Job summary

Zühlke Group is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer in the UK. You will be a hands-on member of an engineering squad, building and operating business-critical digital services with a backend-led focus using Kotlin or Java 17+ and a frontend layer with React/TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing server-side applications with Kotlin or modern Java.
• Good knowledge of the JVM ecosystem and backend development practices.
• Experience designing, building and operating APIs and distributed services.
• Understanding of reliability, maintainability, performance and security.
• Proven experience writing effective automated tests.
• Experience with relational databases and modern frontend development (React/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and production-support workflows.
• Curiosity about AI-augmented engineering and willingness to explore new methods.
