Job summary

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead development in a mature DevOps team, delivering a growing portfolio of websites and web apps. You will shape architecture, engineering standards, and platform evolution while building and supporting business-critical services.

Working in an Agile environment, you will deliver traditional MVC and modern SPA solutions, ensure WCAG 2.2 AA compliance, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular.
• Experience with SQL Server and Azure services.
• Proven ability to lead technical workstreams in DevOps environments.
• Experience delivering accessible, WCAG 2.2 AA compliant web apps.

Responsibilities

• Capture and analyse requirements for new workstreams.
• Design new functionality and consider scalable architecture.
• Develop MVC solutions and SPA projects.
• Create integrations with other solutions and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• QA colleagues' code and write technical documentation.
• Performance analysis of apps and components; estimate backlog items.
