Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Bracknell with hybrid work options. You will own features end-to-end, from API and service design to frontend delivery, building scalable backend services and APIs using C# .Net and a Vue frontend.

You will guide architectural decisions with Product, Design and Compliance while improving reliability and production performance. You can work from home most of the time, joining colleagues in Bracknell twice a week.

Qualifications

• Strong C# .Net backend development experience.
• Frontend knowledge with Vue.js (React also acceptable).
• Strong API, system design and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with production AWS - CI/CD, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS or Lambda advantageous.
• Good understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to mentor others and take technical ownership.
• Experience in payments or regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

Senior Full Stack Engineer / Developer (C# Vue.js) Bracknell / WFH to £85k

Do you enjoy working across the full tech stack, taking ownership and leading projects?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on Full Stack Engineer role a global financial services company as they rebuild the international payments platform, working within the Corporate Payments division.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you'll own features end-to-end, from API and service design through to frontend delivery and production including designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs using C# .Net, building customer facing features across backend and the Vue frontend.

As a senior team member, you'll own architecture and technical decisions within your domain, collaborate closely with Product, Design and Compliance to take features from idea to production and improve reliability, observability, testing and production performance, modernising legacy services and contributing to wider architectural direction.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the Bracknell office twice a week.

About you:

• You have strong C# .Net backend development experience
• You also have a good knowledge of frontend development, ideally with Vue.js experience, although React experience is also fine
• You have strong API, system design and distributed systems knowledge
• You have experience with SQL and relational databases
• You have experience with production AWS - CI/CD, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS or Lambda advantageous
• You have a good understanding of microservices and event driven architectures
• You're comfortable taking technical ownership and mentoring others
• Experience in payments, financial services or another regulated environment is desirable
