Job summary

Yokogawa Marex is seeking an experienced full stack software developer to contribute to web and Windows-based solutions using C#, HTML5/CSS3 and SQL Server. You will join a collaborative team and help design, implement and test complex software components.

The role requires a Bachelor or Diploma in CS/IT with 3+ years in web-focused development, strong communication, and the ability to lead technical work and mentor colleagues within a structured quality system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar with 3+ years of work experience in a software development environment as a full stack developer.
• Experience in the development of complex applications using C# and SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience in the creation of Software Functional and Design Specifications.
• Experience in software testing, release and maintenance.
• Experience of planning and execution of development projects including estimation, risk management and time management.
• Experience of team leadership including the development of team members.
• Experience of working within a structured quality system with knowledge of structured software development methods and processes.
• Excellent communication skills, customer focus, problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project manager to create and execute software development projects delivering high quality products.
• Create and review requirements, functional and design specifications, for the development of complex software solutions.
• Develop, modify and review code, adhering to quality standards in line with requirement, functional and design specifications.
• Plan, design and develop tests (including automated unit tests) to meet quality metrics.
• Diagnose and assist the support team to resolve software issues including usability, configuration and coding.
• Optimise the use of technology in the development of software solutions.
• Lead technical teams and mentor team members.
• Produce estimates and development architectures for inclusion in proposals.
