Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, and Java. You will design scalable database solutions with MongoDB, IBM DB2, and SQL Server, and build RESTful APIs for system integration.

The role includes CI/CD, security checks, root cause analysis, and collaboration with multiple teams to deliver robust software in a production environment.

Qualifications

• :Minimum 3 years of experience in software application development (Senior Software Engineer).
• :Proficient in Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, Java.
• :Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• :Experience with relational databases such as IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server.
• :Experience in API development and system integration.
• :Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, and documentation.
• :Experience producing functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• :Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• :Experience performing root cause analysis and production issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, and Java.
• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable application components following industry best practices.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and software quality requirements.
• Design, develop, and optimise database solutions using NoSQL and relational databases.
• Work with MongoDB, IBM DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integration interfaces with external systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues involving upstream and downstream systems.
• Support end-to-end integration testing and deployment activities.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Integrate automated quality and security checks into the software delivery pipeline.
• Analyse and remediate findings from SAST tools such as SonarQube.
• Support vulnerability assessment and remediation activities from DAST tools such as Fortify.
• Ensure applications comply with security, quality, and coding standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
