Job summary

CoinDesk is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Media Engineering team. You will own complex features across web, mobile apps, and services, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.

You will work with Next.js, React, Node.js, and TypeScript, applying automated testing and DevSecOps principles. Experience with AI tooling and large-scale publishing platforms is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7 to 8 years of experience shipping production software.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous Problem Discovery: Spot critical gaps and unassigned challenges across our architecture before they impact users.
• Technical Direction & Standards: Proactively set and drive technical direction, architectural standards, and engineering excellence across the media stack.
• Force Multiplication & Mentorship: Actively raise the technical bar for engineers, share context, and perform code reviews to avoid bottlenecks.
• End-to-End Delivery Excellence: Own complex features from concept to production with product managers and designers.
• Full-Stack Execution: Architect and ship functionality across web, mobile apps, and services using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and backend services.
• AI-Native Engineering: Leverage AI tools daily; champion internal AI tooling to accelerate workflows.
• Safe Release & Operational Governance: Build CI/CD pipelines and observability with feature flags for safe deployments.
