Job summary

Liberty Global Plc seeks a senior platform engineer to design, build and own platform capabilities across frontend, backend, APIs and cloud infrastructure. You will lead architecture reviews, drive scalable and secure designs, and deliver production-grade software from concept to deployment and support.

You will evaluate complex technical challenges, guide partner teams, and champion engineering excellence across code quality, testing, security, observability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud native architectures.
• Experience integrating large language models, speech technologies or multimodal AI solutions into production environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
• Deep expertise across full stack software engineering, including frontend technologies, backend services, APIs, databases and infrastructure as code.
• Strong cloud engineering experience within AWS, Azure or GCP environments.
• Experience designing and delivering complex platforms operating at enterprise scale.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and modern platform engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks, intelligent workflows and emerging AI technologies.
• Experience building or contributing to AI and Machine Learning platforms.
• Experience working with delivery partners, vendors or systems integrators.
• Experience within telecommunications or other large scale customer facing digital platforms.
• Ability to translate complex architectural requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Knowledge of monitoring, observability and continuous delivery practices.
• Experience with data platforms and infrastructure that support AI workloads.
