Your Impact

As a Senior WordPress Full Stack Developer, you'll:

  • Lead the maintenance and feature development of enterprise-level WordPress sites across multiple brands.
  • Build and maintain shared plugins and reusable microservices to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver digital products that push boundaries.
  • Optimise site performance - improving response times, query efficiency, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve site functionality to ensure seamless editorial workflows.
  • Champion best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
What You'll Bring
  • 8+ years' hands‑on WordPress development experience
  • Deep understanding of WordPress + Gutenberg
  • Strong skills in PHP, JS, React, HTML, CSS
  • Experience building custom Gutenberg blocks, APIs, and feeds
  • Solid knowledge of Git, Agile, and JIRA
  • Understanding of performance optimisation, caching, and Core Web Vitals
  • Confident communicator and collaborator in distributed teams
Nice to Have
  • Experience with WordPress VIP or PugPig
  • Exposure to AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway)
  • Familiarity with Symfony, Twig, TypeScript, Webpack
  • CI/CD tools: CircleCI, GitHub Actions, TeamCity
  • Automated testing with PHPUnit, Behat, Playwright
  • Experience integrating subscription platforms (e.g. Piano.io, Zephr)
