Senior Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript) – Flexible

Job description

You will join this large Financial Institution (Investment Bank) as a Front End Developer and you will be joining a small team of developers to build a range of UI’s in the equities risk domain. Mostly Greenfield development. Previous Financial Services Experience Is Not Required. Close collaboration with engaged internal users.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of scalable, high-traffic systems
• Championing engineering best practices across the team
• Building full-stack applications in React

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Senior software engineer
• Deep backend knowledge using TypeScript/JavaScript, with full-stack ability in React
• Cloud experience, ideally with AWS (Lambda, EKS, RDS) and Kubernetes
• Exposure to AI tools or automation workflows (desirable!)
• Familiarity with GraphQL, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
