Acorn Insurance is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to craft high-quality user experiences in Liverpool. You’ll lead technical decisions, mentor peers and collaborate with designers and product owners in an agile squad.

The role demands excellence in React, Next.js and TypeScript, with optional experience in React Native as we expand to mobile. Join a Liverpool HQ team adopting a hybrid work model (3 days in office) and a culture of engineering craft, performance, and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production-ready frontend applications.
• Strong expertise in React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Build scalable, reusable frontend components with clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with designers and product owners in an agile environment to ship high-quality features.
• Optimise for performance, accessibility and security.
• Monitor frontend performance using tooling and analytics to drive improvements.
