You are a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer who thrives on turning complex ideas into elegant, performant, and intuitive user experiences. You bring a deep understanding of modern frontend engineering and a passion for building clean, scalable, and maintainable interfaces particularly in data‑rich or real‑time environments.
You’re comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor: someone who takes ownership, brings clarity to ambiguity, and elevates engineering standards through your work and collaboration. You enjoy partnering closely with designers, backend engineers, and machine learning specialists, and you’re confident communicating technical decisions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
You have strong experience delivering high‑quality web applications end‑to‑end, and you’re excited by the opportunity to help define the tooling, frameworks, and best practices of a growing frontend function. You take pride in writing excellent code, but equally value documentation, knowledge sharing, accessibility, and thoughtful UI / UX.
You stay curious, keep up with modern frameworks and trends, and are enthusiastic about contributing to projects that involve innovation, whether that’s real‑time interfaces, desktop / PWA builds, visualising complex graph structures, or integrating with AI‑driven capabilities.
Most importantly, you’re motivated by impact. You want to help shape how a new engineering team works, influence the frontend direction across multiple products, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high‑quality delivery.
You’ll be joining a small but growing Frontend Engineering team within our wider Software Development and AI function. We’re a collaborative, cross‑functional group made up of frontend engineers, backend developers, machine learning specialists, UX designers, and QA working closely together to build intelligent, data‑driven products that solve real‑world challenges.
As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver modern UI experiences across multiple platforms, including web, desktop, PWAs, and browser extensions. Our work spans a range of exciting problem spaces, from real‑time messaging and complex visualisation layers to integrations with LLMs, computer vision, and advanced data pipelines.
We value engineering excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement. Everyone contributes to decision‑making, standards, and ways of working, whether that’s defining our component library, improving build processes, influencing architectural choices, or helping grow the frontend discipline.
If you’re looking for a team where your ideas matter, where you can make a visible impact on products and engineering culture, and where you get to collaborate with talented people across multiple domains, you’ll feel right at home here.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimising high‑quality user interfaces across our suite of data‑driven applications. You’ll work closely with designers, backend engineers, and machine learning teams to create seamless, performant, and visually compelling experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex UI challenges, influencing engineering standards, and helping shape the future of our frontend capability as we scale.
Shape the future of our frontend engineering function: You won’t just join a team; you’ll help define its standards, tooling, and ways of working as we scale.
Work on genuinely interesting, complex challenges: From real‑time data interfaces and graph visualisation to AI‑driven interactions, PWAs, desktop apps, and browser extensions.
Collaborate with talented engineers across Software, AI, Data, and UX: A supportive environment where ideas are shared, explored, and implemented quickly.
High impact, low bureaucracy: Your work will directly influence the direction of our products and engineering culture, with the autonomy to own solutions end‑to‑end.
Modern tech stack and forward‑thinking engineering culture: We embrace new tools, frameworks, and best practices that improve developer experience and product quality.
Flexible working: Hybrid and remote options that support work–life balance while still offering the collaboration and connection of a close‑knit team.
Career progression built into the role: Opportunity to grow into a Lead‑level position as the team expands and our product portfolio continues to evolve.
