Faculty is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to partner with cross-functional delivery teams to transform cutting-edge AI and data science models into intuitive, impactful client-facing software.

You will champion modern frontend engineering practices, mentor fellow engineers, and shape our growing frontend community, delivering elegant interfaces from concept through to deployment in high-stakes environments.

Formación

• Experience building, testing, and scaling modern web applications with React.
• Strong focus on clean component architecture and design systems across platforms.
• Experience creating data visualisations with D3 to render sophisticated insights clearly.
• Foundational familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack/Babel) and backend APIs (Node.js).
• Exposure to modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to mentor teammates and turn problems into practical solutions.

About the role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Faculty, you will partner with cross-functional delivery teams in to transform cutting-edge AI and data science models into intuitive, impactful client-facing software.

You will champion modern frontend engineering practices, mentor fellow engineers, and shape our growing frontend community. In this role, you will have the autonomy to solve complex, real-world challenges through elegant interfaces, driving innovation from concept through to deployment in high-stakes environments.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and scaling resilient, client-facing web applications that bring complex machine learning insights to life.
• Collaborating closely with data scientists, designers, and engineers across the product lifecycle to design intuitive user experiences.
• Architecting and maintaining reusable design systems and component libraries to accelerate development across the company.
• Establishing and maintaining robust CI/CD, development, and deployment workflows alongside modern cloud infrastructure.
• Championing frontend best practices, engineering standards, and technical excellence across our engineering guilds.
• Mentoring, onboarding, and supporting team members to foster a supportive and continuous learning environment.

Who we're looking for:

• You bring strong experience building, testing, and scaling modern web applications using React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• You have an appreciation for clean component architecture and enjoy developing design systems that work smoothly across multiple platforms.
• You’re comfortable creating data visualisations using tools such as D3 to make sophisticated insights clear and accessible.
• You have a solid understanding of frontend build tools (such as Webpack or Babel) and foundational familiarity with backend APIs (such as Node.js).
• You bring exposure to modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and enjoy learning how deployment pipelines fit into the wider software ecosystem.
• You thrive in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment where you can share ideas, support peers, and turn complex problems into practical solutions.
