Job description
About the role

Creativity will be at the heart of everything you do. One week you might be diving into a quick project that’s wrapped up in just a few days, and the next you could be shaping something much bigger over several months. You’ll be tailoring designs to fit our clients’ needs perfectly, all while keeping the bar high for our UI Development Team. We’ll be looking to you to bring innovation, precision, and a real eye for detail into every line of code you write.

Here are some of the things we’re keen to see:

  • Reactexperience (ideally 2+ years commercially)
  • Confidence working withTypeScript
  • Familiarity withNext.js(or similar frameworks)
  • Experience withCSS pre‑processorslike Sass
  • Knowledge of build tools such asGulp, Grunt, or Webpack
  • Experience hooking into bothtraditional and headless CMSs
  • Comfort writing code inpattern libraries(e.g. Fractal, Storybook), and mocking up APIs when needed
  • A track record of working withREST APIsand ideally some exposure toASP.NET
  • The ability toscope projects, estimate timescales, and capture technical requirements
  • And of course, aportfolio showcasing websitesthat you’re proud of, ones that are both performant and a pleasure for users to navigate.

If this is sounding like your kind of challenge, we’d love to see your work and hear about what excites you in front‑end development.

What we’d love to see (but not dealbreakers if you haven’t ticked every box):

  • You’ve had a go at bringing external web-based APIs to life in your projects and know how to make them sing.
  • You’ve taken the lead before, whether that’s guiding a team, sharing your know‑how, or being the go‑to person for planning and mentoring other UI developers.
  • You’re comfortable playing with React libraries, especially when it comes to adding those extra touches like haptics, smooth animations, and slick transitions that make an interface feel effortless.
About you

We’re looking for someone who loves creating slick, high‑performing user interfaces and takes real pride in the craft. If you’ve got a sharp eye for detail, enjoy bouncing ideas around with a team, and thrive on turning concepts into beautiful, functional web experiences, then this role will feel right up your street.

You’ll have a portfolio that shows off the depth of your skills and creativity, and ideally you’ll bring along a good few years’ experience (4+ would be great) in a fast‑paced agency environment. If you’re ready to take on exciting projects and push your work to the next level, we’d love to hear from you.
