Job summary

Radley James is partnering with a capital markets technology firm to hire a Senior Front-End Engineer for its London team. You will own and influence front-end architecture, delivering data-intensive applications used by hedge funds, traders, and portfolio managers.

You’ll collaborate with product, design and backend engineering, setting high standards for performance, reliability and user experience while mentoring engineers and leading complex feature delivery.

Qualifications

• Six+ years building scalable React/TypeScript apps.
• Strong front-end architecture and design fundamentals.
• Experience with data-intensive business requirements.
• Proven ownership and mentoring of engineers.
• Excellent communication and delivery quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex front-end features and reusable components.
• Make architectural decisions that support scalability and maintainability.
• Improve engineering standards across testing, tooling and code quality.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical plans.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Own production reliability, monitoring and application performance.
