A leading international music group is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager for a maternity cover contract. The ideal candidate will collaborate with creative and commercial teams to provide impactful financial insights and must have strong business partnering experience in the music industry. The position requires advanced Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. Availability for a mid-late November start is necessary.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of post-qualified experience in FP&A and business partnering.
  • Prior finance experience in the music industry or label environments.
  • Ability to present complex financial data to non-finance teams.

Job description

We're seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to join a leading international music group on a fixed-term contract (maternity cover). This role partners closely with creative and commercial teams to deliver impactful financial insights, so you'll need strong business partnering experience within the music industry and be available to start at short notice.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a senior finance business partner to label management, A&R and product teams, delivering insightful analysis of release P&Ls

  • Provide financial planning and analysis to evaluate P&L performance and influence commercial decisions

  • Collaborate with creative and commercial teams to forecast project performance and analyse variances against budget

  • Prepare regular management reports and commentary on monthly results, trends, and key release performance

  • Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast processes, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals

  • Identify key financial risks and opportunities to drive profitability and ensure project viability

  • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner

Requirements
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with strong post-qualified experience in FP&A and business partnering

  • Previous finance experience in the music industry / label environments

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data for non-finance teams

  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and commercial acumen

  • Available for mid-late November start
