Job summary

Hitachi Rail Limited is seeking a senior FP&A governance lead to strengthen consistency and transparency across Group planning and reporting. You will own governance workstreams, coordinate cross-functional and regional stakeholders, and drive standardization and automation in FP&A processes.

The role requires independent operation in a fast-evolving environment, translating strategic priorities into practical actions, with hybrid or home working options and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes, governance, and controls.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and finance transformation.
• Experience in multinational organizations and cross-regional coordination.
• Proven ability to lead governance, standardize processes, and drive automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee planning, forecasting, reporting adherence across groups.
• Coordinate FP&A calendars, deadlines, and governance expectations.
• Own FP&A maps, RACI matrices, and operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and simplification.
• Lead FP&A transformation and digitalization initiatives from design to adoption.
• Develop communications, training materials, and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
• Support post-acquisition integration and process harmonization.
• Act as FP&A point of contact between Group and regional teams.
