Qualifications

  • 2+ years PQE in an FP&A role required.
  • Experience in a professional services company is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and assist with annual budget preparation.
  • Forecast cash flow, balance sheet, and revenue pipeline.
  • Prepare monthly reporting pack and commercial KPI reports.
  • Develop automated reporting tools to increase productivity.
  • Challenge current processes to drive efficiencies.

About the role

We are looking for a qualified accountant reporting to the FP&A manager, in this broad and interesting role in a fast‑paced environment. The company is part of a large international group, which brings both group HQ & internal reporting & analysis requirements. Reporting into the FP&A manager, with some exposure to the CFO, this role will provide the right candidate with a great springboard to build their experience & career.

Overall Responsibilities
FP&A:
  • Ad hoc analysis
  • Assisting with quarterly forecasts and annual budget preparation
  • Cash flow & balance sheet forecasting
  • Revenue pipeline preparation and analysis
  • Monthly reporting pack & detailed commercial KPI reports
  • Opex analysis
  • Business partnering with commercial & operations
  • Project profitability tracking
  • Operate & advance Power BI model & build financial models to evaluate company's vision and projects
Process Improvement Responsibilities
  • Challenge current ways of working to drive efficiencies
  • Assist in new Certinia/Oracle system implementation
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting tools
  • Proactively identify risks and challenges to the company
  • Be part of a continuous improvement culture across finance
Skills
  • Qualified accountant (ACA from Top 10 audit firm) with 2+ years PQE in an FP&A role
  • Power BI (or similar data analysis tool)
  • Quick learner
  • Strong self‑organisation needed to meet tight deadline requirements
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to step back, think, understand and prioritise
